Sound Sweep Protocol
Energy. Frequency. Vibration.
You may have heard the quote from Nikola Tesla - "if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." When you break a molecule apart, you get atoms. When you break an atom apart, you get subatomic particles. As you continue to break matter into smaller and smaller pieces, you eventually cease to find physical matter at all, and you are left with a teeny-tiny tornado of vibrating energy at a specific frequency. The same is true for a rock, a tomato, a puppy or a person - all forms of matter at their core are really just frequencies.
Each part of our bodies has a different resonant frequency, so the resonant frequency of our hair will differ from the resonant frequency of our bones, of our blood, of our organs, etc. Thanks to the principles of physics, we understand that frequencies can resonate and entrain with one another, which is why the C string plucked on one guitar will vibrate the C string on a second nearby guitar without the second guitar being physically touched.
When our bodies are stressed, depleted and bombarded with external forces such as EMF's, our resonant frequencies can go out of tune, which can eventually manifest as physical or mental changes. When we're experiencing physical and mental health symptoms, then something in our bodies has gone out of tune. By hearing the correct resonant frequency, we can resonate and entrain with that frequency and essentially give ourselves a "tune-up".
The frequency range of human hearing is about 20 - 20,000hz. When we want to give ourselves a tune-up, we can listen to the exact frequency that our body needs that has fallen out of tune. The problem with this method is that you need to know the specific frequency for each individual pitch that has gone out of tune. As we contemplated this dilemma of not always knowing the exact frequency needed for a tune-up, we developed the Sound Sweep Protocol.
The beauty of this protocol is that you don't need to know which of your frequencies is out of tune, you don't need to know anything about alternative health or physics, and you don't need to do anything for this protocol except listen to sound. It's as simple as it gets!

The Sound Sweep Protocol:
First, you will need to download a frequency generator app with frequency sweep functionality. We're currently using an app called "Hertz Frequency Generator" by KingZ Apps (we are not in any way affiliated with this app, it's just the one we've found to best suit our needs for this protocol).
Once you have the frequency sweep function open, set the start frequency to 20hz and set the end frequency to 20,000hz. You can set these parameters to include a wider range of frequencies if desired, but you will likely not be able to audibly hear lower or higher tones. Set the sweep to loop on repeat and set the waveform to be a sine wave. Set the duration to your desired time - this will be the amount of time it takes the app to sweep through the entire range of frequencies you've set. We like to set ours around 15 minutes per sweep, but this part is entirely up to you.
If you're comfortable with self-muscle testing, you can muscle test to see if the duration you set will be beneficial for you and muscle test to confirm how many sweep cycles would benefit you today. If you're not comfortable with self-muscle testing, you can start with 1-3 sweeps and then notice how you feel.
While you can do silent tasks alongside a sound sweep, we recommend that you treat it as a meditation, tuning into your body to notice what you feel during the sweep. You may be able to notice a specific frequency range that feels particularly beneficial and create a customized sound sweep protocol for yourself from there!
Listen to your body's signals as you practice sound sweeps. Your body is intelligent and it will speak to you if you are paying attention. This is a generalized protocol and everyone's "tuning" is going to start out a little bit different. If you start to feel uncomfortable or otherwise bothered by the sound, stop the sweep and resume it at a later time. Experiment and have fun!
